Crossing Effect

Crossing Effect” explores migration as a deeply human experience—one shaped by necessity, choice, and the invisible forces of environment, society, and emotion. Across time, movement has defined civilizations, blending cultures and forming new identities.

In this body of work, the artist transforms ordinary cotton work gloves—symbols of labor, identity, and human presence—into abstract forms resembling migratory birds. Through layering, texture, and the play of light and shadow, each piece evokes the tension between departure and belonging, fragility and resilience.

The works capture a moment suspended between places—where movement is not just physical, but emotional and existential. Like birds guided by instinct, these forms suggest a journey driven by unseen forces, echoing the silent stories of those who cross borders in search of something more.
